Building in South Holland
Much of South Holland is low-lying fenland, and the ground varies from street to street. On some sites building control will ask for deeper foundations than usual, so we check the ground and talk it through with you before we price the footings.
Extensions and conversions here are checked by building control, either South Holland District Council or an approved inspector. Planning questions go to the district council too; we’ll tell you at the site visit whether your project is likely to need permission.
